Winternational events
Each year, 2Hot4Ice will hold a Winternational East and a Winternational West event. These events are considered special events, and do not qualify teams for our National Games. All divisions are open. We will seed the teams into the correct division based on our staff’s extensive research of each team, and their results. These events are generally held in January or February of each year and we treat these events much like we treat our National Games Tournament.
Medals and Team Awards
Full scale emceed award ceremonieswill be held on the rink directly following the completion of the Championship game in each division. We will present unique Winternational Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in each division. In addition, each of those teams will be presented with the ‘2H4I Heisman Trophy’, which will display their teams finish in the tournament.
Individual Awards
- Deebs Young Memorial Award: Awarded to the player in each division with the most points in round robin play.
- Top Dishman: Awarded to the player in each division with the most assists in round robin play.
- Most Valuable Goalie: Awarded to the goalie in each division with the best Goals Against Average in round robin play
*Tiebreaker for Individual Awards will be players’ team ranking
*In the event that we split the divisions at the start of tournament play, we will present a separate group of individual awards to players in each division.
Pricing for Winternationals is as follows
- 8U: $495
- 10U – Adult: $595
- Premier: $850
*Teams that complete their registration 14 days in advance, including payment in full, will be eligible for a $25 Early Bird Discount. Premier Division teams are not eligible for Early Bird Discount.
